 Papercraft: Digital Samples      Three of my six paper samples will be starting points for my final paper project. I wanted to do a chicken and decided to also add a nest and egg. I love chickens as they have been around in my life due to my slavic background and culture. I'm also vegetarian and my boyfriend has some as pets. That is why I chose this as my paper topic.            I decided to give the Femme shroom an overall matte finish, with metal shiny accents for the rings, and clear material for the crystals. Regarding lighting, I wanted the entire render to be fairly dark and have soft light illuminating the body and two light sources emitting from the crystals. I thought this would make the lighting more interesting while still following my initial concept for the model as faux glow in the dark crystals could be used in the jewelry. I created a custom material that emits this glow.   

  Critique Feedback I received: Add nipples to earrings - add piercings and jewelry, jewelry is mini shrooms or crystals Place deer with antler hands driving horse car Make the deer into earrings Make mushroom dots more organic Add Christmas lights or barbed wire onto deer antlers Add a fishing hook out of the cranes mouth Give the mouse ears a different colour Make the deers mouth open Add a horse head to the horse car Selected Model: Earrings The feedback I received did not influence my decision to choose the earrings for my next project as I was already most interested in that concept compared to my other models, however it was useful in deciding to modify the nipples as I did not even think about adding them before. I chose to incorporate the suggestions of the nipple jewelry and adding more organic dots to the top of the shroom as well.
